Kwara ZLP Gubernatorial Candidate Congratulates Kwarans on beginning of Ramadan 1444AH

 


The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Zenith Labour Party in Kwara State at the just concluded election, Alhaji Usman Danjuma has felicitated with Muslims across the state on the beginning of 1444AH Ramadan .

Alhaji Usman Danjuma in a statement issued on Wednesday, thanked Allah for sparing our lives to witness another sacred and holy month of Ramadan, urging Muslims to use the period to move closer to Allah.


"As we begin Ramadan fast all over the world, I pray we come out of this holy month with renewed hope and strengthened of faith, May Allah give us the grace to complete it"



Alhaji Usman Danjuma also implored all and sundry to take the advantage of Ramadan to pray for the Country to attain genuine development and to surmount her numerous challenges.

"We should continue praying for the country this period, provide for less privileged through almsgiving to the poor and needy to attract reward of Allah in double folks"

It would be recalled that, announcement of sighting of new crescent was made though out the Muslim world to begin Ramadan which will last 29 or 30 days.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
