Kwara ZLP refutes Alliance with any party ...

The Kwara State Chapter of the Zenith Labour Party ZLP has ruled out any chance of merging or forming alliance with any political party in the state, noting that the party will fully participate in the forthcoming Saturday's Gubernatorial election in the state.

According to the spokesperson of the party, Comrade Popoola Wasiu said ZLP has made positive impression in the last Presidential election and it was an indication that the party is ever ready to challenge future elections.

Comrade Popoola Wasiu reiterated the determination of the Gubernatorial Candidate of the party, Alhaji Usman Danjuma to improve welfare of the civil servants, upgrading of social amenities across the state, youth and women empowerment and effective Health care delivery.

" Our Party will focus on Agricultural programme across the three senatorial districts, improve educational  policy, women inclusiveness and youth employment and empowerment will be our cardinal policy if given the mandate.

He appealed to party followers and supporters to adhere strictly to the electoral laws while exercising their franchise and come out en mass on Saturday and Vote Usman Danjuma as the next Governor of Kwara State.
