Edun Development Association Annual Quran Competition Commences Tuesday

 



The Annual Quran Competition of Edun Development Association is billed to Commence on Tuesday, 10th April, 2023, (20th Ramadan 1444AH)


According to the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Uztaz Ahmad Idris Ajia, arrangements are in top gear to ensure a hitch free exercise, noted that the opening ceremony of the contest will start as from 4:pm at Ode Alfa Mosque, Edun Street, Ilorin.


The Competition which is expected to harvest new Hafiz and other competitors within and outside Edun Community will last for ten days as the grand finale holds on the day of Eld-Fitri at the same Venue.

Uztaz Ahmad Idris Ajia Urged all Participants to arrive at the venue on or before 4:pm in anticipation of the smooth takeoff of the exercise .


The Ceremony will be witnessed by Imams, Magajis, Alanguas and other stakeholders in the Community while Donations will be thankfully received by the organizers

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
