Engr Olaide To Focus On 7 Points Football Development Plan

 



 ....Engages Stakeholders Ahead of FA Election.


Ilorin based engineer and Chairmanship Contestant in the June 13th Kwara FA Election, Engr Ahmed Olaide is to focus on seven key points agenda if given the mandate to serve the football fraternity in the State.


Engr Olaide who hosted major football stakeholders on one on one presentation and unveiling of his football development plan on Sunday in Ilorin, said Public Private Partnership, Institution of Model League, Scouting , Proper Football Education, Enabling Environment, Football Summit and Sponsorship are the agenda to pursue vigorously if the administration of football is reposed in him. 


Engr Olaide reiterated his determination to be accountable and operate an open door policy at all time, assured stakeholders that female football will receive special attention by encouraging female kids to start playing the game very early, to herald a new era of female football in the state.


" I owe you everything I say here , I Promise to be accountable at all time while our great ideas as a group will manifest in the development of football in Kwara State"

His Campaign slogan is "Rocking The Boat Our Only Choice" 

He also signed MOU with Kwara SWAN during the event to attest to his readiness  of inclusiveness of relevant stakeholders to move the game football to next level of development.


The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Magaji explained that Government is living no stone unturned to ensure hitch free and acceptable Election in Kaiama.


Other stakeholders who spoke at the event, including the Administrator of KFA, Alhaji Ibrahim Bako, Chairman of Kwara United, Kumbi Titiloye, Gm, Bashir Badawiy, Mallam Hammed Adio, Director of Football ABS, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, MJ Daudu, SWAN, Chairman Kwara United Supporters Club and Coaches Association cautioned Engr Olaide not to derail from his plan and redouble his efforts to move the game of football to an enviable heights in the state as he is battle ready for the task ahead.

The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
