....Congratulates Emir of Ilorin on Durbar Festival 


The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Zenith Labour Party in the 2023 General Elections in the State, Alhaji Usman Danjuma has rejoiced with the good People of Kwara state, particularly Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of the 2023 Eld Kabir Festival.



Alhaji Usman Danjuma in his Sallah Message, challenged Kwarans to reflect on the teachings and lessons of the Eld- Adha, noting that Obedience, Patience and Perseverance is the Hallmark of the festival as exemplified and demonstrated by Prophet Ismail and his father, Prophet Ibrahim.


 "I want to Congratulate Muslims across the state on the celebration of this year's Eld Kabir Festival, I also extend my greetings to Etsu Tsaragi and the entire tsaragi Emirate on the occasion, praying for more years to celebrate inshallah"


" We should not see Eld Kabir as mere merriment but a festival for sober reflection and a period to rededicate our lives to the cause of Allah, may he make it easy for us"


Alhaji Usman Danjuma also Congratulates the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR on this year's Ilorin Emirate Grand Dubar, adding Durbar Celebration  is meant to showcase the rich cultural heritage, norms and value of the ancient town, believing that the festival will further promote Unity and Peaceful Coexistence in the State.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
