2023 NBSL FINAL PHASE: Figo Ogunlana Optimistic of Securing Playoffs for Nmanko in Lagos

 


Ahead of the final phase of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League in Lagos, Kwara Nmanko Beach Soccer team's skipper, Figo Ogunlana has reaffirmed his determination to ensure Kwara Nmanko Beach Soccer team clinch ticket for the playoffs which will determine the overall winner of the League.


Nigeria Beach Soccer League NBSL final round is scheduled for Badagry, Lagos, South West Nigeria, between 20th to 23rd, July 2923.  


Figo as he fondly called, spoke to journalists in Ilorin, that the team is battle ready to consolidate and sustain the spirit of winning mentality as witnessed in the previous rounds of the competition.


 "I'm ready and the team is also ready as well to qualify for the playoffs this year, we only implored the management and officials to provide all the necessary logistics, for us to have effective prosecution of the matches in Lagos"


Figo who called on his team mates to redouble their efforts and commitment, explained that winning all the three matches in Lagos is their main target, to stand a chance of playoffs and we will not derail from the focus.


He Commended Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim and Engr Idris Jibril for investing their wealth in a useful oriented programme for youths, through Nmanko Beach Soccer team, believing that winning the championship will further encourage them to do more.


Figo is one of the best players in the NBSL and has consistent in his superb form this season, while his superlative and in-form is expected to earn him a National call up as soon as possible
