African Beach Games 2023: Ramsak CEO Hosts Kwara Teqball Players
.... Promises Continuous Support for Teqball's awareness
A Major Sponsor of Teqball in the state and Chairman Ramsak Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Yunus Saliman has again renewed his commitment and determination to promote the game of Teqball in the grassroots to enhance it's awareness.
Alhaji Yusus Saliman stated this on Tuesday in Ilorin while hosting three Kwara Teqball players who represented Nigeria at the just concluded Hammamet Africa Beach Games in Tunisia.
Alhaji Saliman while expressing satisfaction with the performance of the players, stressed that the game of Teqball has come to stay, hence the need to support it to stand shoulder to shoulder with football and other sports.
"I'm satisfied with the performance of our boys in the Teqball event of the just concluded African Beach Games in Tunisia and I want to encourage them not to relent in their efforts to guarantee their place in the national team"
Alhaji Saliman who is the founder of Ramsak FC Abuja, commended the players for being good ambassadors of the State and the Country while in Tunisia, noting that their performance in the competition contributed to the overall success of Team Nigeria.
He commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his unprecedented achievements in the area of sports development, imploring him to also extend the same gesture to Teqball to further expose more players to the rudiments of the game.
He noted that he is supporting the game of Teqball as part of his contributions to the society and to also encourage youths to take the game as a professional career.
Earlier, Nigeria's No one Teqball Player, Victor Oyemade who spoke on behalf of other players, thanked Alhaji Yunus Saliman for his overwhelming support for Teqball and believes that the experience garnered in Tunisia will further assist them in the game.
Oyemade who implored the state Government to sustain already established enabling environment for sports development in the state, said providing the state's Teqball team with standard facilities will ease their programs.
Players hosted to a warm reception were Victor Oyemade Africa Number two, Funsho Funsto Samsondeen, Nigeria Number two and Rasheedat Salaudeen were also part of team Nigeria who won gold and silver for the country in Tunisia.
