Go for Maximum Points Against Australia..Hajia Alaya Charges Falcons

 



Ahead of the second Group Game of the Nigeria's Super Falcons against the host, Australia, at the ongoing FIFA Women's World cup, players and officials of the team have been encouraged to redouble their efforts and play as a team to guarantee maximum points.



A board member of the Nigeria Women Football League, Hajia Segilola Alaya gave the charge while reacting to the performance of the girls in their opening game against Canada


Hajia Alaya who lauded the team's spirit, resilience and determination in the game against Canada last Friday, implored falcons not to be intimidated with the antics of the fans of Australia as a co-host, rather they must work towards winning the match to stand a chance of progressing in the world biggest women football show piece.



"I'm imploring our players to remain resolute, focus and determine as they play one of the hosts in their next game, victory for falcons in the match will pave way for progression in the competition"



Hajia Alaya Praised NFF Leadership under Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau for ensuring all logistics were adequately and effectively put in place for the team towards a hitch free participation in the Championship.



Super Falcons will play Australia next Thursday 27th July in the Second Group Game before they play their last Group match against Republic of Ireland on Monday 31st July .
