Stakeholders Heaps Praises on plans to reposition Kwara United

 



Football stakeholders in Kwara State have been hailing Mallam Bola Mogaji for appointing Wale Obalola as the Secretary of Kwara United ahead of the announcement of the new board.


Obalola replaces Hamidu Olowo who was not competent enough in the discharge of his duties.


Football lovers have however urged the Executive Chairman of Kwara Sports Commission to make sure that the next Kwara United Chairman will be someone who is friendly with fans, supporters and   everyone in football.


It is no longer news that the Sports Commission is in charge of everything Sports in Kwara and whoever will become next Kwara United Chairman must pass the Screening of the Executive Chairman.


The Executive Chairman has however reiterated his commitment and readiness to revamp Kwara United and make the club one of the best in Nigeria.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
