Usman Danjuma Greets Muslim Faithfuls on 1445 Hijrah




The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Zenith Labour Party in Kwara state in the 2023 General Elections, Alhaji Usman Danjuma has Congratulated Muslims across the state on the beginning of new Islamic year, Hijrah 1445AH.


Alhaji Danjuma in a statement on Wednesday, enjoined the adherents of Islamic faith to imbibe the teachings and lessons of Hijrah which is tolerance and Perseverance to accelerate the development of the state.



 "I joined Millions of Muslim faithfuls across the state and the country as a whole in the celebration of this year's Hijrah, I implored them to reflect on the lessons of the celebration, Prophet Mohammed's migration from Mecca to Medina symbolizes positive turn around, emulating it will also bring about positive changes in the state and nation at large "


He Charged President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to  work towards implementing a sustainable policy which aimed to providing succour to the less privileged and poor masses, badly affected by subsidy removal at the beginning of his  administration.


He prayed Allah to Grant Muslim world more years to celebrate many blissful Hijrah

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
