Wale Obalola Appointed Acting Kwara United Secretary

  



Kwara state Sports Commission has appointed Mr. Wale Obalola as Acting Secretary of Kwara  United Football Club till a substantive board is put in place for Club 


This action became necessary following the dissolution of the Club's management board by the government and with the 2023/ 2024 NPFL season drawing closer.


With this appointment, Mr Obalola will take charge of running of the Club till a substantive board is put in by the state government.


All relevant stakeholders in the state are therefore implored to give the Acting Secretary  the needed  support in the  task ahead.


His appointment takes immediate effect  as the former Secretary, Mr Amidu Olowo has been  recalled to the Commission.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
