Nasir Galadima, Ayodeji Ismail Task Students of Secondary School On Entrepreneurship Training, Hardworking, Prayer As BFCYDA's Summer Lesson Ends
Parents and Guidance have been called upon to encourage their children and wards to engage in skill acquisitions and entrepreneurship training while in school to reduce the menace of unemployment in the society.
Ilorin based broadcast Journalist, Ayodeji Ismail, made the disclosure on Wednesday at the end of this year's summer lesson of Balogun Fulani Constituency Youth Development Association, held at Government Girls Day Secondary School, Amilegbe, Ilorin.
Ayodeji Ismail who is also Kwara SWAN Chairman, explained that education of self reliance and self sustaining is the alternative to the rampant cases of unemployment, hence the need to acquire it in all ramifications.
While congratulating and appreciating the association for sustaining the legacy of over three decades of consistently staging the programme in the community, He implored them to include entrepreneurship education in their lesson as from next edition to encourage it learning from the classroom.
Also Speaking, an educationist and CEO Galad education consult, Dr Nasir Galadima Identified hard work and prayer as a secret to success, noting that for students to be successful in their chosen career, they must be hardworking and prayerful.
Dr Galadima who tasked the pupils to shun negative influence from their peers, advising them to always respect and listen to their parents to guarantee their success.
Earlier, Chairman, Education Committee of the association, Comrade Taiye Hassan Erubu, appreciated donors and sponsors for making this year's summer lesson a huge success, stating that the efforts is geared towards giving back to the society that made them.
The event also featured presentation of prizes and award of scholarship to the best students and pupils.
