Nigeria @ 63: Future Diplomats Donates Gift Items to Kwara State Children Reception Centre

 


As Nigeria Marks 63rd   Independence Anniversary, a non governmental organization, future diplomats has donated gift items to the Kwara state children reception centre, popularly known as motherless baby's home.  


Speaking at the presentation of the items on Sunday in Ilorin, state coordinator of the organization, Ambassador Comfort Bamidele Popoola said the donation is part of the social responsibility of the organization and to also celebrate Nigeria at 63 with vulnerable children in the state.


Ambassador Comfort Popoola pointed out that the organization is cut across all states of the federation including federal capital territory Abuja, with the mandate to complement government's efforts in the areas of need.


She applauded staffers of the agency for to taking good care of the children and urged them to sustain the spirit as well as seen their work as service to humanity. 

Also speaking, the public relation officer of the group, Ambassador Segilola Alaya said the organization will not relent in assisting less privileged within the available resources of the organization in an attempt to give back to the host community.


Future Diplomats is in 49 Countries of the world, which Nigeria is one of them, with the headquarters is in New York city, while its administrative centres in Sacramento, the capital city of California.


Items donated were tissue paper, Cookies, water bottle and others .
