Ilorin Golf Club Hosts 2nd Harmony Open

 




Arrangements are in top gears to ensure an itch-free 2nd Harmony Open Golf Championship 


The competition which is billed to run from 10th to 11th November 2023, on the tricky Ilorin golf course will feature over 150 players in several categories who had signified interest in the event. 


The Open that had attracted entries from Golf clubs across the country is been marketed by Sluqfort Nigeria Limited ,a Golf Tour and Marketing outfit headed by Barr. Lukman Owolewa.


In order to ensure a smooth event and hospitable experience for participants, the club's Board of Trustees under the Chairmanship of Hon. Justice Lambo Akanbi (Rtd), have not only held meetings with the Club management and the Marketer but had also contributed towards a successful staging of the competition. Other members of the BoT are Engr. Yusuf Lanre Sagaya, Otunba Olusola Adekanola, Pharm. Layi Maliki and Dr. Funsho Abogunrin .


According to the Captain of the club, Luqman Yahaya, the BoT are not only pulling their resources together but also throwing their weight behind the event as they have all invited several of their friends from outside the State to grace the occasion. 


The program of events revealed that Friday 10th of November is arrival and practice day and welcome cocktail 



The game will Tee-off 7am on Saturday 11th November 2023. The closing ceremony and presentation of prizes will hold at the club's Ultra- modern Club House by 7pm

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
