SWOT Team Honours Engr Olaide with Football tourney As Bola Magaji Hails His Sterling Contributions to Football Development

 



The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Magaji has advocated for effective combination of education and sports for athletes to excel in their chosen career .


Mallam Magaji who was a special guest at a football competition, organized by SWOT team organization for Education development in honour of Engr Olaide Ahmed's Birthday Celebration, implored parents and guidance to nurture their children on sports and education to harnesses their full talents and potentials.


He commended the sterling contributions of Engr Olaide to sports development in the state, asking him to sustain the tempo to encourage others to emulate.

"I'm impressed with Olaide's immense contributions to sports development and I want to encourage him sustain the gesture"

Earlier, the chairman of Cyteck Engineering Ltd and Birthday Celebrant, Engr Olaide praised the organisers for the honour done to him with a football Competition, reiterating a renewed commitment to football development from the grassroots.

  "I'm elated and overwhelmed with what the organisers did to celebrate my Birthday, I will continue to support the organisers"

He Pledged to lias with the parents of some students discovered in the championship for possible sponsorship into football Academy in the state .



Al Halal defeated Silver maple by two goals to nil to emerge winner of the tourney.


The Colourful  Championship was attended by friends, associates, colleagues and family of the celebrant.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
