We Are Playing Nigeria As Underdog.. Lesotho Head Coach

 




The Head Coach of Lesotho National Team, Leslie Notsi says his team is playing Nigeria in today's 2026 FIFA  World Cup Qualifier as an underdog.


 Leslie Notsi who spoke to journalists after their final light training session ahead of the game, noted super eagles remained one of the best teams in the continent with their experience in AFCON and the past FIFA tournaments.


 "We are playing this game as an underdog but that does mean we will not defend ourselves  moving forward in the game"


He expressed satisfaction with the facilities at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, noting that one of reasons Nigeria remain a force to be reckoned with in the African football.


Nigeria who missed out in the last world cup, is billed to take on Lesotho in the FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifier by 5pm this Thursday at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
