Usman Danjuma Mourns Chief Imam of Patigi

 



The Zenith Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2023 General Elections I'm Kwara State, Alhaji Usman Danjuma Zakari has expressed sadness over the passing away of Chief Imam of Patigi, Alhaji AbdulMaliq Ibn Mohammed, who died yesterday.



In a condolence message to Etsu and entire people of  Patigi Community, Alhaji Usman Danjuma, said he received the news of the death of an erudite Islamic scholar and Patigi Chief Imam with a rude shock, stating that his demise at this period is blow to the entire muslim community and league of Imams in the state.



"The death of our referred and dearest Father, Sheikh AbdulMaliq Ibn Mohammed is an inevitable and monumental loss not only to Patigi Community but the entire state at large, the vacuum created by his death will be difficult to fill"



While sympathizing with the immediate family of the deceased, Alhaji Danjuma prayed Allah to grant him eternal rest and give the people of Lafiagi the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
