African Universities Games: NALVEJ Hails Hameed Adio's Appointment

 




The National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) in Kwara State has congratulated one of its member and a former commisssioner for Information and Sports in the state, Alh Hameed Adio on his  appointment as a member of a 13-man FASU UNILAG/LASU Think-Thank individuals in the field of sports.


The Olympian Adio and other appointees are to join hands with UNILAG & LASU to deliver a World class and international standard-based African Universities Games (FASU) tagged LAGOS 2024.


The league in a statement signed by its chairman, Alh Tunde Akanbi, described Adio's appointment as well deserved.


Describing Adio as a legendary sports personality and administrator, the league expressed confidence in his ability to help his team deliver on their mandate.


NALVEJ expressed delight that the former chairman of Kwara State Television Service( KWTV) has made the union proud.


It thanked the authorities of LASU and UNILAG for finding Adio worthy of the appointment.


The league prayed God to grant Adio and his team the enablement to hold a successful African Universities Games ( FASU) billed to hold in Lagos State.
