Edun Community Hails Dr Tunji Nagode's Continuous Financial Support To Aged, Development Associations & Ilorin Emirate

The People of Edun Community in Ilorin South Local Government area have hailed Dr AbdulKadir Tunji Nagode for his constant financial assistance to various development associations, aged and Ilorin Emirate in general.



Dr Tunji Nagode had earlier in the beginning of the year donated the sum two million naira to the maintenance of Ilorin central mosque, a million naira to Ilorin Emirate youth Development Association for their annual empowerment program and five hundred thousand to Edun Development Association for their yearly Ramadan Quran Competition.



According to a Community Leader and traditional title holder in Edun area, Alhaji Shuaib Aliyu Ajia, said the support of Dr Tunji Nagode to widow, widower, community based development associations and aged in Ilorin Emirate is unprecedented, stating that the gesture deserves commendation.



On Friday May 31st 2024, Dr Tunji Nagode made another symbolic donation of fifty thousand naira each to twenty five carefully selected people above 85 years within Edun and Balogun axis of Ilorin South, to support them to cushion the effects of the economic hardship in the land, this is not the first time community is witnessing this strides, it's being a routine efforts from the true son of Alhaji Salihu Nagode.



Arrangements have also concluded to dole out six yards of Ankara cloth to one hundred women within Ajia Ijesha compound and the sum of two thousand naira each to sew it to mark the fast  approaching Ileya and Durba festivals. The above milestones is nothing but service to humanity and giving back to the community. May Allah reward him abundantly and be his guide at all time.



Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries of the latest financial support, Alhaji Adeshina of Ile Alfa, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the donor for constantly in touch with grassroots, adding that his unwavering assistance has bridge the gap of inequality between the rich and poor. 



He beseech Allah to protect and guide him always in his quest to further serve humanity.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.
