Ilorin East TAMPAN Sets To Organize 5 Aside Football Tourney

 



Arrangements are in top gear by the Leadership of Ilorin East Local Government chapter of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria TAMPAN to stage a 5-aside football competition among six local government chapters in the state.



According to the statement from the chairperson of the Local organizing Committee, Mr Mauritala Olaitan, said the competition is billed for Wednesday, 19th June  2024 at Karuma Secondary School, Akerebiata, Ilorin beginning from 10:am.



The Competition which is expected to feature participants from Ilorin South, Asa, Isin, Ilorin west, Offa and Ilorin East Local Governments will also attract prizes for the first position, Second Position, Best goal Keeper, Highest Goal Scorer and presentation of Certificate to all Participating teams.



The Chairman of TAMPAN, Ilorin East, Mr Bolaji Suleiman has called on members and lovers of the association to come en mass and support the program as it is also meant to raise funds for its development.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
