Usman Danjuma Greets Muslims on Hijrah 1446

 



A Chieftain of the ZLP, Kwara State and Abuja based business tycoon, Alhaji Usman Danjuma has rejoiced with Muslim Ummah across the world on the occasion of 1446 Hijrah which is the beginning of Islamic New Year.



Alhaji Danjuma in a statement on Saturday, said Hijrah offers another golden opportunity to refrain from bad and negative things to guarantee Allah's divine blessing at all time  .



"As we are celebrating 1446 Hijrah, the beginning of Islamic New Year, I'm calling on all and sundry to reflect on the teachings and lessons of Hijrah and shun any act capable of undermining the unity of the nation" he stated.



"We should use this Hijrah to also pray for the nation to overcome her economic hardship and other challenges as country is currently witnessing turbulence"



He congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari and Etsu Tsaragi on successful beginning of the Islamic lunar year, praying Allah to witness many more to celebrate

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
