I Will Not Waver in My Support for Kwara United FC, Affirms CEO of Zeems Sports
The Chief Executive Officer of Zeems Sports Arena in Offa, Aare Musbau Olalekan Olaniyi, has vowed to continue his steadfast backing for the harmony boys as the new NPFL season kicks off.
Kwara United underwent training at Zeems Sports Arena in Offa on Saturday, following an official invitation from the owner in preparation for the 2024/25 NPFL season.
Aare Musbau Olalekan expressed to journalists that the decision to invite Kwara United for training stemmed from the initiative to bring top teams from NPFL, NNL, and NLO to Offa to experience the facilities at the arena, with the aim of enhancing the socio-economic development of the community.
"I have encouraged the club to build upon last season's performance and strive for a continental ticket this season. As I have always been there for the club, I am determined to maintain my support by the grace of God,"he affirmed.
"I eagerly anticipate welcoming the club back to Offa following their preseason in Ikenne,"he concluded.
He revealed that the ongoing work is in progress to expand the facility, including the development of a multi-court for volleyball, badminton, basketball, and tennis, as well as the construction of a swimming pool.
In the meantime, Shola AbdulRaheem, Wasiu Alalade, Abayomi Ayodeji, and goalkeeper Saliu Dogo stood out during Saturday's training session, captivating the fans in attendance with their impressive performances.
