Kumbi Titiloye, the chairman of Kwara United Football Club, has expressed profound sorrow at the passing of esteemed sports administrators and businessman, Sen Ifeanyi Ubah and Emmanuel Inwuanyawu, who departed this world on Thursday and Saturday respectively.



Sen (Dr) Ifeanyi Ubah acquired Gabros International of Nnewi, a prominent football club in the Nigerian League, rebranding it as FC Ifeanyi Ubah, thereby marking his entrance into the realm of professional football business in the country.Ubah passed away at the age of 52.



Chief Emmanuel Inwuanyawu was the proprietor of Iwuayanwu Nationale, a club that garnered attention in the 1980s but ultimately succumbed to death at the age of 82.



In a message of condolence to the families of the departed, Titiloye, conveyed through the General Manager of the club, Bashir Badawiy, expressed that Sen Ifeanyi Ubah and Emmanuel Inwuanyawu departed at a juncture when their wisdom and expertise are sorely missed, given their significant contributions to the advancement of football in the nation.



"We are deeply grieved and disheartened by the loss of these distinguished and influential football administrators.

"Their dedication to the sport will remain etched in our memories,"Titiloye articulated.



In extending sympathies to the football community, the club implored upon God to grant eternal peace to both men and to provide their families with the strength to endure this irreplaceable loss.
