Massive food production as an antidotes to Persistent Hardship... Pastor Eunice Wemimo
Massive food production with mechanized farming has been identified as a panacea to the current and persistent hunger and other untold hardship in the land.
A fellow of the Kwara State Association of National accountants of Nigeria ANAN, Mrs Eunice Wemimo Abolarin stated this on Wednesday while delivering paper on "Can Nigeria be a better nation ?" at a monthly meeting of the Association, held at Radio Kwara Mandate Hall, GRA, Ilorin.
Mrs Eunice Wemimo explained that the only chain that can reduce inflation is to grow food and building green farms in the compound, adding that another way to meet high demands of food across African is by massive production.
She stressed that Nigeria will be a better nation if we harness the opportunities for rebuilding a new economy in the areas of oil and gas, technology, agriculture, security services and social media influencing .
A fellow of ANAN was of the opinion that socioeconomic, good leadership, Individual behavioural attitude and professionalism are pertinent factors for a better Nigeria which professionals in all fields across the country must work towards it in the interest of egalitarian society .
Earlier, the special guest of honour at the meeting and general manager of Radio Kwara, Alhaji Kayode Aremu said the present administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has demonstrated good leadership by prioritizing welfare of his workforce and improved infrastructure across the state through his urban renewal policies and Programs.
Aremu added that the Governor had taken the state to the enviable heights in the last five years and turned it to economic viable one as against the civil service state it was before since inception of his administration.
He commended Kwara State chapter of ANAN for for educating their members on positive things to be done to better the lots of the Country, asking them not to rest on their oars in changing their mentality of negative perspectives towards the country.
