Esteemed retired broadcaster from the NTA Network, Mr. Femi Oke-owo, has lauded the 7th Kwara Open golf tournament for its exceptional organization, emphasizing that the organizers meticulously adhered to the tournament regulations.


Mr. Oke-owo, who expressed his delight at participating in the 7th Kwara Open golf tournament at the Ilorin Golf Club, shared with journalists that the systematic approach and dedication exhibited by the organizers had truly elevated the essence of the game.


"In our nation, the issue is not corruption but rather the absence of coordination, orderliness, and efficient organization, qualities that the Ilorin Golf Club has exemplified in this remarkable tournament."


Despite not emerging victorious in the game, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and am grateful to be part of this event,"added Oke-owo.


The distinguished media executive encouraged members of the press to partake in sporting activities to enhance their overall performance.


"I realize journalists are often engrossed in various assignments, yet it is essential to recognize the importance of rest and recreation in order to function optimally.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
