Kwara United Football Club extends sincere congratulations to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his prestigious appointment as the Sardauna Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate.


Bestowed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari during the Governor's visit to the palace alongside his cabinet, this distinguished title acknowledges the Governor's exceptional performance and unwavering dedication to the state throughout the past five years.


In a statement from the Club Chairman, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, it was emphasized that the Governor's unwavering commitment to propelling the state forward through a myriad of programs and policies has been duly recognized through this revered title.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
