We are not distracted by triumphs in our exhibition matches, Asserts Coach Dogo

Kwara United's endeavor to attain peak performance ahead of the upcoming NPFL season received a significant boost with a commanding 7-1 victory over Hepzibah FC of Lagos on Wednesday afternoon at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne during a friendly encounter.

Prior to this, Kwara United had secured a narrow 1-0 win against the newly promoted NPFL outfit, Ikorodu City, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

Ismail Gata emerged as the standout performer for the Harmony Boys in Wednesday's spectacle, finding the net four times to mark his return to the club. Louis Dadong and Moses Omodumeke also contributed to the scoresheet for Kwara United, while Hepzibah managed an own goal and a consolation strike to round off the eight-goal thriller.

The coaching staff, under the guidance of Kabir Dogo, are diligently ensuring that the team is mentally and physically prepared for the upcoming season.

"We are not allowing ourselves to be swayed by the excitement of our recent triumphs in friendly matches; rather, we are committed, focused, and determined to present a formidable team for the league,"remarked Dogo succinctly after the game.

The technical team remains unwavering in their determination to recruit top-tier players for the club, devoid of any biases, as elucidated by Dogo.
