Edun Development Association Hails Tunji Nagode's Appointment As Dan Amana Ngeri of Ilorin


 


The Edun Development Association has praised the appointment of Dr. Tunji Nagode as Dan Amana Ngeri of Ilorin, a traditional title conferred by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR. 

The announcement of the title was made on Friday in Ilorin, much to the delight of Dr. Nagode’s supporters, family, friends, and well-wishers.


In a statement signed by the association's Vice Chairman, Mallam Waheed AbdulMutolib, the association congratulated Dr. Nagode, emphasizing that the title reflects his significant contributions to the Ilorin Emirate. 


The statement also expressed deep gratitude to the Emir for recognizing Dr. Nagode's efforts.


The association further prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for Dr. Nagode as he assumes his new role.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
