 Kwara Poly Alumni Association Condemns Alleged Killing of It's Student*


The Kwara State Polytechnic Alumni Association, an affiliate of the worldwide alumini  has condemned the alleged killing of one of its students by the Nigeria Police. 


The incident reportedly occurred last Monday when police officers allegedly stopped students along the Sango area, checked their phones, and, when some students resisted and fled, they were shot at, resulting in the death of one student.


In a statement, the president of the Kwara State Polytechnic Alumni Association, Kwara BRANCH  Hajia Segilola Alaya on behalf of other executive, expressed deep sorrow over the loss and called on the Kwara State Police Command to identify and prosecute those responsible. 


ALAYA also criticized the recurring attacks on students and urged the police to reassess their operations in the area. 



She extended condolences to the family of the deceased and the school community, praying for the student's peaceful repose.
