Kwara United Hails Team Kwara's Performance At 8th National Youth Games


Kwara United Football Club has commended Team Kwara for their outstanding performance at the recently concluded 8th National Youth Games (NYG24) in Asaba, Delta State. 



The team finished 5th on the medal table, with an impressive haul of 14 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze medals, surpassing their previous record.


In a statement issued by the club's Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, and conveyed through General Manager Bashir Badawiy, the club praised the efforts of the Executive Chairman of the Kwara Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Magaji, for providing the necessary logistics that enabled the athletes and officials to achieve this success.



"We celebrate the Executive Chairman of the Sports Commission and Kwara athletes at NYG2024. Once again, Kwara has demonstrated its strength as a state to be reckoned with in sports development," the statement read.


The club also acknowledged the unwavering support of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, highlighting the prompt release of funds and the provision of an enabling environment as key factors in the team's achievement.
