The Director General of the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), Alhaji Bolaji Nagode, has expressed immense pride and gratitude over the recent conferment of the traditional title of **Dan Amana Ngeri of Ilorin** on his younger brother, Dr. Tunji Abdulkadir Nagode, by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR.


During a thanksgiving visit to the Emir’s Palace in Ilorin on thursday, Alhaji Bolaji described the title as a prestigious honor, likening it to a "laurel" for the Nagode ,Belgore and Bawa families. 


He highlighted that the Emir made an excellent choice in recognizing Dr. Tunji Nagode for his selfless service to humanity.


Alhaji Bolaji expressed confidence that their late father, Alhaji Salihu Nagode, would be proud of this royal recognition.


He urged Dr. Tunji Nagode to continue his dedication to the development of the Emirate and to uphold the teachings of the Quran and Hadith, which guide his life.


The thanksgiving ceremony was attended by family members, friends, associates, and colleagues, celebrating the honor bestowed on Dr. Tunji Nagode.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
