 Tunji Nagode Merits Dan Amana Ngeri's title in All Ramifications.. Emir of Ilorin



The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Obas and Emirs, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, has called on Dr. Tunji Abdulkadir Nagode, newly conferred with the title of Dan Amana Ngeri, to remain steadfast in his service to humanity. 


The Emir made this remark during a Special thanksgiving Ceremony held in honour of Dr. Nagode's new title at Emir's Palace Ilorin on Wednesday.


Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari expressed his admiration for Dr. Nagode’s contributions to the development of the Ilorin Emirate, emphasizing that the conferment of the Dan Amana Ngeri title reflects the recognition of his dedication to the community. 


The Emir noted that honoring Dr. Nagode was akin to honoring his own dynasty, highlighting the importance of acknowledging those within the emirate before looking outside.


The Emir prayed for Dr. Nagode's long life and success in continuing his humanitarian efforts, affirming that the title was well-deserved in every aspect.


In his response, Dr. Tunji Nagode expressed profound gratitude to the Emir for the honour bestowed upon him, acknowledging the support of his family, friends, and well-wishers. 


He also assured that the Belgore and Nagode families would remain thankful for the gesture, praying for continued blessings and happiness in their lives.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
