Having made significant contributions to the Super Eagles and club sides like Enyimba International and Kwara United, Aiyenugba's career is a blueprint for aspiring goalkeepers. His stint in Israel, where he helped his club avoid relegation, further cemented his reputation as a formidable goalkeeper.

Now a certified goalkeeping coach, Aiyenugba has passed his passion and expertise on to his sons, Joseph and Daniel. Initially hesitant about their pursuit of football due to his own early experiences, Aiyenugba was later convinced by their dedication and skills, particularly after Coach Ladi Ojokojo guided them while in Nigeria and Dele only gives pep talk during their time in Israel. Daniel now plays as a goalkeeper for Beyond Limit Academy, while Joseph plays as a forward for Ilorin-based All Stars.

In a notable moment, Dele and Daniel faced off in the semi-final of the 2023 ValueJet Preseason Tournament, with Daniel's team, Beyond Limit, emerging victorious in a penalty shootout. Daniel even outshined his father by saving a crucial penalty, highlighting the growth of the Aiyenugba football dynasty.

With his professional certification and experience spanning national and international football, Dele Aiyenugba is well-positioned to contribute to Nigeria’s national teams as a goalkeeping coach.
