Elizabeth Boniface's selection to represent Nigeria at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup is a testament to her talent and hard work.

 


Her journey from Kwara-based clubs like Kwara Ladies, Abruka Queens FC, and Delmerk FC to the national team reflects her dedication and commitment to excellence. 


Being part of the Flamingos is a huge accomplishment, bringing pride to both Delmerk Company, Kwara State and Nigeria.


Her goalkeeping foundation was solidified through her training with "Goalkeepers World" under the guidance of Coach Oluyori Obaro, alongside Delmerk company management, led by ex-international and Kwara United goalkeeper trainer Dele Aiyenugba. This combination has prepared Boniface for the challenges ahead on the global stage.


Coach Oluyori Obaro expressed confidence in Elizabeth’s ability to achieve success for the National U-17 team, noting her exposure to modern goalkeeping techniques and her resilience will also inspire her aspirations.


He believes her hard work and determination will shine through in the tournament as the world watches, Elizabeth Boniface is poised to deliver for Nigeria at the U-17 Women’s World Cup.


The Nigeria's Flamingos are in group A alongside the host Nation, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and New Zealand.


The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will kickoff in Dominican Republic from 16th October to 3rd November, 2024.
