Alhaji Usman Jagunma's emergence as the new National President of the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) embodies the cohesive spirit of Ilorin and reflects his long-standing dedication to community growth.

Having previously served as IEYDA’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Jagunma utilized his role to spotlight the association's initiatives both locally and internationally, cementing its status as a formidable youth development organization.

Jagunma’s leadership journey is rooted in his unwavering passion for community service, a quality that has inspired many to engage in meaningful work without seeking personal gain. His influence has notably drawn more young people and professionals from Ilorin into IEYDA’s programs, utilizing media effectively to expand the association’s reach and impact.

His selection was met with overwhelming approval, as the IEYDA Congress and the association’s 9-member SURA committee unanimously endorsed him, celebrating his potential to drive IEYDA’s vision forward.

The unity displayed in Jagunma’s selection underscores the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari's message of peace and cohesion, which has been a hallmark of Ilorin Emirate’s values.

With Jagunma at the helm, there is great optimism that IEYDA will not only build on the achievements of the outgoing president, Alhaji Babatunde Salaudeen, but also expand its outreach to include Ilorin indigenes living outside the state.

As the new president, Jagunma has a promising path ahead to enhance IEYDA's role on the global stage, further showcasing Ilorin Emirate's commitment to unity and progress. Congratulations to Alhaji Usman Jagunma as he embarks on this new chapter for IEYDA and the Ilorin Emirate community.
