Kwara United's Duo, Emmanuel Ogbole and Nurudeen Badmus, Invited to Super Eagles B Camp in Ikenne
Kwara United’s prolific forward, Emmanuel Ogbole, and dependable goalkeeper, Nurudeen Badmus, have been named among the 30 players invited to the Super Eagles B Camp in Ikenne by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). This is in preparation for the forthcoming CHAN qualifiers against Ghana's Black Stars B.
Ogbole, who has netted 7 goals in the ongoing 2024/25 NPFL season, and Badmus, with an impressive record of 7 clean sheets, have been pivotal to Kwara United's success this season. Their excellent form has earned them a place in the national setup, reinforcing the club’s reputation for developing top-tier talent.
Reacting to the news, Kwara United Chairman, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, through General Manager Bashir Badawiy, expressed confidence in the duo’s potential to shine on the national stage.
> “Their performances this season validate their invitation. We remain committed to training and building quality players for the Nigeria Premier League and the national teams. Our philosophy of player development remains unwavering,” Badawiy stated.
According to the NFF, all invited players are expected to report to the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne, Ogun State, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. The team will undergo intensive training to prepare for the two-leg qualification series. The first leg will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, 2024, with the return leg scheduled for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
This call-up underscores Kwara United's focus on excellence and its contribution to Nigerian football, with the club continuing to produce players ready for both domestic and international challenges.
