 Kwara YSFON Honours Coach Bola Mogaji as Patron



The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), Kwara State Branch, has honored the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bola Adisa Mogaji, as the Patron of the association.


During the investiture, YSFON Chairman, Prince Ademola Kiyesola, highlighted Mogaji’s immense contributions to sports development in Kwara and Nigeria, stating that the recognition was well deserved. 


He also emphasized that the investiture aligns with YSFON Kwara’s commitment to reshaping and repositioning grassroots sports development in the state.


In his response, Coach Bola Mogaji expressed gratitude for the honor and pledged to collaborate with YSFON in discovering and nurturing hidden talents at the grassroots level. 


He also urged the Kwara YSFON leadership to continue promoting sports development across the state and beyond.


Dignitaries present at the event included Mallam Bako Ibrahim (Director of Sports, Kwara Sports Commission), former Director of Sports Tunde Kazeem, former Permanent Secretary Gesinde Adedeji Fregene, and other YSFON members.

Emir of Ilorin to Turban Mohammed Baba Iliyas as Daudu Egbejila July 25 Preparations are in top gear for the grand turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Mualim Mohammed Baba Iliyas as the 3rd Daudu Egbejila Wara Osin in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. The ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the Emir’s Palace, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 AM.
