Kwara ZLP Satisfied with Usman Danjuma's Emergence as VC North Central at National Convention

The Kwara State Chapter of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) has lauded the re-election of Alhaji Usman Danjuma as the Vice Chairman (North Central) at the party’s national convention, which took place last Thursday in Abuja.

Speaking on Sobi FM on Tuesday, the party's Public Relations Officer in the state, Comrade Popoola Wasiu, described the successful conduct of the national convention as a milestone that sets a template for state and local chapters to follow.

According to Popoola, elections to elect party leaders at the state and local government levels will hold soon, ensuring prompt enlightenment, awareness, and mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He highlighted the party's steady growth, noting that ZLP has made significant strides in the political landscape, with 15 Local Government Chairmen in Abia, as well as two councillors each in Abia and Nasarawa states. This, he said, is a clear indication that ZLP is a party to watch.

“Our party is a platform to develop potential members without godfathers. We are building a party free of nepotism, where the will of the masses will always prevail. This is our cardinal objective,” Wasiu remarked.
