ZLP Convention 2025: Usman Danjuma Retains VC North Central Position

A chieftain of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and the party’s 2023 gubernatorial candidate in Kwara State, Alhaji Usman Danjuma, has been re-elected as the Vice Chairman, North Central, during the 2025 national convention of the party held in Abuja.

The convention, which took place last Thursday, was organized to elect new leaders ahead of the 2027 general election. The early convention reflects ZLP’s commitment to positioning itself as a strong alternative and challenging what the party describes as the "fake Renewed Hope Agenda."

Reacting to his re-election, Alhaji Usman Danjuma reaffirmed the party’s dedication to working closely with Nigerians across all geo-political zones, emphasizing ZLP’s vision to rebuild the country and make it a shining example for other African nations.

He also expressed gratitude to key party stakeholders, particularly the National President, for their unwavering support in ensuring that ZLP remains a formidable force in Nigeria’s political landscape.

With his re-election, Alhaji Danjuma is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening ZLP’s presence in the North Central region as the party strategizes for the 2027 elections.
