Diehard Supporter Engr Ahmed Olaide Hails Kwara United’s Federation Cup Triumph

A passionate supporter of Kwara United, Engr Ahmed Olaide, has commended the team’s heroic qualification to the semifinal of the President Federation Cup, describing their performance as a testament to resilience and determination.

Kwara United staged a remarkable comeback on Saturday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, recovering from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with Akwa United in regulation time before triumphing 5-3 in the penalty shootout.

Engr Olaide, the CEO of Cyteck Engineering and sponsor of the Cyteck Man of the Match award, said the victory has silenced doubters and written Kwara United’s name in gold.

“


Our boys have proven that they are the team to beat. This is the time to double our support. Their resilience has proven critics wrong and made history for the club. Now, they must finish the job by going all the way to lift the trophy,” he said.

He congratulated the players and officials of the club for raising the bar and delivering when it mattered most, describing the victory as “sweet and well-deserved.”

Kwara United will now face Rangers International in the semifinal of the competition
