 Mogaji Charges Athletes to Stay Focused at Gateway 2024




As the 22nd National Sports Festival – Gateway 2024 gets underway in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has called on Team Kwara athletes to remain focused and determined in their quest for medals.


In an interview on May 18, 2024, in Abeokuta, Coach Mogaji expressed strong optimism about Kwara’s chances at the festival.


 “I’m confident we’ll surpass our previous medal count. Our athletes are primed to deliver exceptional performances and make a lasting impact,” he said.


Mogaji also had words of advice for coaches, urging them to stay composed under pressure and ensure punctuality for all scheduled events.


 “Stay calm, and make sure you’re at the venue before the official start time,” he emphasized.


He further acknowledged the unwavering support of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, describing the governor’s backing as a major morale boost for the team.
