 NSF 2024: Para Athletics Federation President Hails Ogun State's World-Class Facilities



The President of the Para Athletics Federation of Nigeria, Hon. Rafiu Olawale Etti, has commended the organization and infrastructure of the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival in Abeokuta, describing the facilities provided by the Ogun State Government as world-class.


Speaking to journalists at the MKO Abiola International Stadium on Friday, Hon. Etti, who is also part of the Lagos State contingent, acknowledged that although a few challenges were observed, they are being promptly addressed by both the Main Organising Committee (MOC) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC).


“Yes, the facilities at MKO Stadium, Alake Sports Centre, and Ikenne are standard and in line with global best practices,” he remarked.


He also expressed confidence in the ability of Team Lagos to secure a podium finish, assuring that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is committed to rewarding medal-winning athletes at the end of the festival.


Hon. Etti further assured Lagos athletes of his personal support, describing the biannual sports fiesta as one that has consistently lived up to expectations in promoting national unity and sporting excellence.
