Kwara’s squash powerhouse, Rofiat Abdulazeez, has reaffirmed her status as Nigeria’s number one female squash player, delivering a stunning performance at the Gateway Games 2024 in Ogun State by clinching three gold medals and one silver for her state.


Representing Kwara State with unmatched determination, the Oyun Local Government-born athlete captured gold in the Singles, Doubles, and Team events, while narrowly missing out on a fourth gold, settling for silver in the Mixed Doubles.


This feat not only cements her place atop Nigeria’s squash rankings, but also adds to an impressive record of national and international achievements that continue to inspire a new generation of athletes.
