The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has delivered on his promise to the players of Kwara United by presenting goal bonuses and winning incentives following their hard-fought semi-final victory over Rangers International.


The presentation took place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Kwara United training ground within the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin. Mogaji used the occasion to further inspire the players and technical crew ahead of their crucial President Federation Cup final clash against Albakalikli United.


Reaffirming the unwavering support of the state government, Mogaji assured the team that His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is fully behind them and committed to their success. 


He emphasized that all necessary support will be provided to help the team achieve a historic victory.


Conveying a special goodwill message from the Governor, who is currently performing the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, Mogaji noted that the Governor is praying for the team’s triumph and is closely following their journey with pride and high expectations.


With the final of the FA Cup underway, the mood within the Kwara United camp is one of confidence and determination, as the players gear up to bring national football glory back to the state.


The support from fans, stakeholders, and the entire Kwara sporting community continues to grow as the team prepares for the biggest match in their recent history.
