 Zango Ward Zone A 5-Aside Football Final Holds Monday at Akerebiata



All roads lead to Karuma Secondary School Pitch, Akerebiata, Ilorin, on Monday, June 10th, 2025, for the grand finale of the Zango Ward Zone A Community 5-Aside Football Competition.

The highly anticipated match will see Gatta FC go head-to-head with Mayaki FC in a thrilling contest scheduled to kick off at 4:30 PM.

The week-long grassroots football championship is proudly powered by the Director General of Senator Saliu Mustapha’s Constituency Office for Ilorin East, Hon. Bashirat Kolawole, as part of efforts to give back to her immediate community and promote youth engagement through sports.


In a statement issued by the Chairman, Sports Committee, Kamaldeen Kure, football lovers and residents within the community have been urged to come out en masse to witness the final. He also assured of maximum security throughout the event.

“This competition is about unity, development, and giving young talents a platform to shine. We appreciate Hon. Bashirat Kolawole for her continued support,” Kure added.
