Victor Adeoye, Kwara United’s standout defensive midfielder, has attributed his Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the 2025 President Federation Cup to unwavering dedication, commitment, and the collective effort of his teammates in securing a historic title for the state.

The hard-tackling midfielder, who played a pivotal role in all six matches of the tournament, was instrumental in solidifying the backline of the Harmony Boys, drawing widespread praise from fans and pundits alike.


Reacting to the achievement, Adeoye said:


 “This award is not just for me—I dedicate it to my teammates for their sacrifice, total commitment, and loyalty to the club. Nobody gave us a chance, but we thank God for guiding us to this long-awaited victory, the first national silverware in Kwara State’s history.”


Adeoye’s impressive consistency and leadership on the pitch were critical to Kwara United’s defensive strength, earning him the admiration of the club's loyal supporters and recognition as the MVP of the nation's oldest football competition.

Looking ahead, he vowed to remain focused and raise his performance in the upcoming 2025/26 NPFL season and CAF Confederation Cup:

 “I will keep working hard to sustain this form going into the new season. The CAF Confederation Cup is a big task, and we are determined to surpass our previous records on the continent.”
