ZLP Chieftain Preaches Interfaith Harmony as Muslims Mark 1447 AH Maolud Nabbiy



As Muslims across the globe celebrate this year’s Maolud Nabbiy, the Vice Chairman (North Central) of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Alhaji Usman Danjuma Tsaragi, has called on the faithful to renew their commitment to the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) by closely following his tenets.


Alhaji Danjuma made this call in a statement on Friday to commemorate the auspicious occasion, urging Muslims to remain united and avoid acts capable of tarnishing the image of the Prophet and his companions.


He described the Maolud celebration as “a moment of deep reflection on one’s journey in life,” noting that it provides an opportunity to make necessary adjustments towards the right path.


The ZLP chieftain also emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and interfaith harmony as essential ingredients for building an egalitarian society.


The Federal Government had earlier declared today a public holiday to mark the 1447 AH Maolud Nabbiy celebration.
