Awoniyi Hails Nottingham Forest Star Hutchinson After Dazzling Display

Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has showered praise on his Nottingham Forest teammate Omari Hutchinson following the youngster’s impressive performance in their hard-fought win over Wolves.

Awoniyi, who is currently sidelined as he works his way back to full fitness, watched from the stands as Forest secured a 1–0 victory at Molineux. Igor Jesus scored the decisive goal 18 minutes from time to hand Sean Dyche’s men all three points.

Although several Forest players struggled to impose themselves against a determined Wolves side still searching for their first league win of the season, Hutchinson delivered a standout performance on what was his first Premier League start for the Reds.

Awoniyi, who has endured a series of injury setbacks since joining Forest in 2022, is not expected to be out long-term this time — a positive development for the club’s attacking options.

The Nigerian forward took to Instagram after the match to applaud Hutchinson’s display, commenting “Magic” under the winger’s post, a simple but powerful recognition of the record signing’s growing influence.

Forest will hope to have Awoniyi back soon as Dyche continues to build momentum in the Premier League campaign.
