A board member of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Engr Nurudeen Adeyemi, has redeemed his ₦500,000 pledge to Kwara United F.C. following the team’s 1-1 draw with Kano Pillars F.C. last Sunday.

Engr Adeyemi reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the club, stating that he will continue to support and motivate the team as they battle to maintain their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) status.

According to him, “The Harmony Boys are our pride. We must rally behind them to sustain their league status.” He therefore called on supporters and stakeholders to come out en masse to cheer the team to victory in their next outstanding fixture.

Kwara United will host Rivers United F.C. on Wednesday at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl in an outstanding NPFL Matchday 22 encounter. A victory for the Harmony Boys will significantly boost their position on the league table as the season progresses.
