The Vice Chairman north central of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Alhaji Usman Danjuma Tsaragi, has congratulated Muslims across the globe on the commencement of the sacred month of Ramadan, describing it as a period for spiritual rejuvenation and renewed devotion to Allah.


In a message on the eve of Ramadan 1447, Alhaji Danjuma Tsaragi noted that Ramadan is a time for supplication, spiritual cleansing, and seeking Allah’s forgiveness and mercy. 


He urged Muslims to take advantage of the holy month to strengthen their faith and deepen their relationship with their Creator.


The ZLP Vice Chairman charged Muslims to observe the fast in accordance with Islamic guidelines and to use the period to pray for the nation to overcome its current security challenges, particularly banditry and kidnapping.


“As we begin the glorious month of Ramadan, I congratulate Muslims across the state, especially our traditional rulers. I pray that Allah grants us the strength, good health, and steadfastness to successfully observe the fast,” he remarked.


Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, charity, and reflection. It also features significant moments such as the Night of Majesty (Laylatul Qadr), regarded as one of the holiest nights in Islam.
